About
CCRG
The
Climate Change Research Group of the Royal
Geographical Society (with IBG) was founded in December 2004 to provide
a forum for discussion of climate change in the modern world. Although
part of the RGS-IBG, the CCRG draws members from all disciplines and
professions - united by their interest in climate change science and
policy.
Regular meetings
help to keep the community involved with academic thought, as well as
providing insight in to how climate data is used in management,
projections, mitigation and adaptation of climate change impacts on
society.
The CCRG is also keen to promote new
research in to
climate change. Support for students is key to the aims of the group;
with meetings bringing together postgraduates from across a wide range
of fields.
